We could not fault their service. They arranged 48 viewings and were proactive in seeking out potential purchasers and following up visits. They kept us informed and I was impressed that Sam Funnell visited us personally to tell us that the house we wished to buy initially had been sold and to review progress on the sale of our house when it seemed to be sticking. We felt their valuation was sensible, they gave us reasoned advice on this but did not push us to reduce too quickly. All those who showed people round did a professional job, but we have singled out Nicola who was particularly pleasant and took an interest in our house and sale. Julie also did a great job. I know their commission is higher than many, but we did feel that they worked for it which is not something you can always say.

Fine and Country Rugby worked very hard to sell our house. We were impressed from the beginning with the speed with which they organised the sales advertisements. They produced an excellent brochure and got the property on-line by the first available weekend. Unfortunately this first attempt did not sell the house, and we moved to another national agent. They were hopeless. Only at this stage did we realise how good Fine and Country Rugby had been. So we went back to them.

We had our property for sale with two other agents for over 12 months with just one viewing. We changed to Fine & Country who arranged an open house and we had 16 viewings on one day and a further 6 viewings after the open house. We had 2 offers and a sale was agreed above our asking price. We were delighted with the service and impressed with the marketing. Fine and Country were more expensive but it was worth paying extra for a proactive team that got the desired result of selling our home so we could move on with our lives. Fine & Country maintained a strong contact with our prospective buyers over a 12 month period, before they were in a position to move ahead with the purchase, and provided excellent service in the delicate discussions over the location of a proposed menage, which could easily have caused the sale to fall through, as the positions of both parties became more intractible during negotiations. This latter point was significant because valuations provided by other rugby estate agents could have resulted in underselling our property by £40k During the sale process we realised that Fine and Country were thoroughly vetting prospective buyers before arranging any viewings, which were always accompanied by Fine and Country staff. The staff at Fine and Country were always professional and polite, actively pursuing potential buyers once a viewing had taken place. On the one occasion where conveyancing appeared to be slow, Fine and Country took the initiative to contact solicitors to expedite matters. The above points were important because as professional people we did not have the time to engage in any aspect of selling, we could relax in the knowledge that Fine and Country had our interests at heart and had the sale process well under control.
