* How can I be sure that I have appointed a professional Agent?

Patrick Gardner can provide clients with complete piece of mind as we are a member firm of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and a member of The Property Ombudsman.

* Do we have to pay extra for accompanied viewings?

No. Our fee is inclusive and all our services that are included will be set out in our terms of contract letter sent to you prior to marketing so you can be clear of your costs. We are more than happy to accompany potential purchasers over your property and will be agreed in advance and accompanied by an experienced member of our sales team. We are always available outside office hours for appointments if required.

* Do you provide feedback following viewings?

Yes. You will be contacted following all viewings either by telephone or email to provide you with any comments and offers

Ignite Financial Services provide clear and understandable advice on all aspects of owning your new property, or remortgaging your existing home. All the applications are processed up to completion of contracts. A broker free of £195 will be charged on application. This fee will be fully refunded if the application is denied.

Whilst we do not sell mortgages or any other financial products we can recommend a local expert that will assist in securing competitive rates of funding for a purchase.

Buying a house is one of the biggest financial decisions that anybody will make in life. It can be a lengthy and complicated process. Our partners at Ignite Financial Services Ltd can provide you with suitable advice and will assist in making the home buying process as easy and stress free as is possible.

We can arrange appointments with Ignite at their office in Epsom or alternatively at your home, your place of work or at one of our four offices. Ignite advisors are available 7 days a week until 9pm for your convenience.

If a property search is just starting or is on-going, the first meeting will outline the process of buying a house and most importantly establish your budget and the maximum purchase price. Whether you are first time buyer, buying your next home, remortgaging or buying for investment Ignite can guide you through the financial process with access to 100's of competitive products.

Following your meeting with Ignite an Agreement To Lend in Principle will be sourced which will give confidence to both a prospective purchaser and a seller of your financial ability to proceed.

Douglas Hooker, BA (Hons) MNAEA - Partner

Part of Patrick Gardner for over 25 years, Douglas works tirelessly for his clients ensuring with his dedicated team at Bookham that Patrick Gardner are the 'go to' estate agent within the village with a considerable amount of repeat business. His commitment and dedication was recognised by the company and in 2013 he became a full Partner. When he is not working for the benefit of his clients, his outside interests include walking his two rescue greyhounds with his wife Cathy over Norbury Park close to where he lives, gastronomy and listening to Miles Davis.

SarahJane Rowe MNAEA - Associate

SarahJane joined Patrick Gardner Residential Lettings in 2005 and moved across to the Bookham office to join the sales team in 2013. In 2015 she attained her agency qualifications along with a promotion to Sales Manager in 2018. In 2021 SarahJane has been promoted to Associate. Having lived in Bookham and Leatherhead for around 25 years she has an excellent knowledge of the local area and numerous contacts. SarahJane lives with her partner Steve and their cocker spaniel and has two grown children.

Hannah, who grew up locally in Mickleham, left school to become a qualified nanny. In late 2018 Hannah decided that she wanted a new direction and joined the world of estate agency. Since joining Patrick Gardner, Hannah's enthusiasm has resulted in many successful sales. Hannah now lives in Dorking with partner and two children.

Charlotte Ward BSc Hons MNAEA - Senior Negotiator

Charlotte has worked with Patrick Gardner since 2007 and was previously the Sales Manager of the Bookham Office. After an extended maternity leave Charlotte re-joined the Bookham team in 2018 as Office Coordinator allowing her to spend more time with her young family while still being involved in the property industry, which she loves. Charlotte lives locally in Dorking with her husband Steve and two children. In her spare time Charlotte enjoys walking, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Ian Baillie - Consultant

Ian Baillie has retired from full time duties with the partnership but continues to have an active role as a consultant to the Company and has already helped with a number of valuations since his retirement. He is more than happy to be contacted for advice/help and can be reached via our Bookham Office when it is hoped that his 45 years of residential expertise may prove to be useful. He will continue to follow through several potential development projects providing Patrick Gardner Residential with some excellent new homes to sell. Ian also remains a director of Patrick Gardner Residential Lettings. When not involved with the business you may spot Ian at Effingham Golf Club, he is a passionate golfer playing off a handicap of 6.
