      Darlington is famous for its affiliation with the beginning of British Railways, celebrated within the Darlington Railway Centre & Museum. The world's first passenger rail journey took place in 1825 on the Stockton and Darlington Railway and later Darlington developed as an important railway town, with three large locomotive works.


      The local paper, The Northern Echo, was launched in 1870 and is a popular newspaper for most residents of the North East, with both national and international news. One of Darlington's best-known landmarks is the magnificent Market Square Clock Tower, completed in 1864.

      With a contemporary shopping centre, Darlington is known as one of the most active shopping locations in the North East, with a special blend of high street shops, Victorian indoor market and Traditional outdoor market.

      The culture of Darlington is rich, with the recently restored Civic Theatre, now named 'Darlington Hippodrome' acting as a trendy venue for the popular arts, hosting a range of musical, drama and pantomime events.

    With over 20 years experience,  Louis started his working career in the mortgage industry for a leading UK organization, developing a wealth of knowledge in the financial sector. Louis continued his passion for property joining the agency where he quickly established himself as one of the leading managers in the company. He has won numerous prestigious company awards, most recently, 'Valuer/Manager of the Year'. As branch manager he is on hand to provide honest and professional advice, paramount to the success of the branch.

    Personal:
    Louis lives in Darlington with his wife Gemma and two children Ava and Theo. Living in Darlington means Louis has first-hand, extensive knowledge of the local property market giving him the edge over many other 'property experts'. In his spare time Louis likes to keep fit and is a great believer in the Greek philosophy 'Healthy Body, Healthy Mind'.

    Suzanne initially started out as an Accompanied Viewer / Letting Clerk with the company before progressing to become a Valuer. She loves meeting new people and thrives on the opportunity of new challenges. She has a passion for property and it's potential. Having lived in Darlington for over 20 years and regularly travelling around the town with work commitments, she has gained extensive knowledge of the area. 

    Personal:
    Suzanne lives in Darlington with her husband, two children and French Bulldog. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a very keen interest for home improvement and interior design. She also particularly enjoys visiting the Lake District which is her favourite UK destination

    Personal: Emma is now settled back in the North East after a spell living in London and Costa del sol. She is all family time with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs. Emma enjoys a busy social life and holidays in the sun.

    Olivia Bowes - Lettings Negotiator
    Olivia joined our team as a negotiator having previous experience in various sale roles. Throughout her life she has worked closely with customers gaining excellent customer service and administration knowledge as she earned whilst she learned by doing a Business Admin apprenticeship for two years. She also Earned The Duke Of Edinburg bronze award by going out of her way to help others and developing her skills. 

    Personal: You would most likely find Olivia at a concert, spinning class or walking her dog Molly. She loves spending time with her friends and family and taking on challenges to learn something new.

    Liz Carter- Senior Office Administrator
    Liz has worked for the agency for over 20 years now as administrator here in Darlington. She really loves her job and keeping everything organised and ticking along. Part of the job has been helping the younger members of the team a task which is very rewarding as she enjoys helping people. Liz has previously won 110 percent effort award on numerous occasions at the annual company awards over the years. 

    Personal: During her spare time Liz especially enjoys looking after her grandson, as her family is very important. However, does find time for herself to go swimming and enjoying holidays with her husband.

    Denis - Therapy Dog
    Denis is a black Labrador. He loves coming to work and is upset when he must stay at home. His job title is office therapy dog, always on hand to give all members of staff cuddles and love. The staff adore him and he knows it. He also likes to check the bins to make sure the correct paper has been put in the recycling as Denis has been known to shred it himself!
