    Marketing and the London Office

    We are members of The London Office which provides us with a central London base to display and hold particulars of properties for sale. The office is manned by experienced agents and is situated in St James' Place just off St James'. From time to time we hold exhibitions either at the London office or at the Move to the Country Show when members of staff from our local offices meet buyers from the capital and home counties.

Buying Through Us

    Initial contact with us will usually be via a website, over the phone or in person at one of our nine offices. You can continue to get up-to-date lists of available properties on an ad hoc basis but you may prefer to register with us. This will allow us to send you details of properties just as they come to the market or when prices are revised.

    Our applicant database is web-based and shared instantly across all eleven offices so that you need only sign-up once to be matched with any property that fits your requirements.

    You can register, update your details and requirements or de-register through this website. You will receive notification of new properties via e-mail and can download full colour particulars from your web portfolio.

    Alternatively, you can also register by contacting one of our offices where a member of staff will take your details and discuss the current market and properties available with you. We endeavour to get all staff to see the property but, where this has not been possible, someone who has seen it can ring you back.

    If any property is of interest please contact the relevant office to discuss it further and to make arrangements for a viewing.

    Once you make an offer it will be submitted in writing to the vendors. The staff will need to collect personal details from you, if not already known, such as the position of your own sale and availability of finance.

    We will advise you of the outcome of any offer. Once an offer is accepted, we will notify your solicitors at the same time as the vendors. Because agents can speak to both buyers' and sellers' solicitors we will keep in touch with you during the sale process with updates, up to the point at which contracts are exchanged .

    Following exchange of contracts we will liaise with you and the vendor about the hand over of keys at completion. This usually takes place in our office but with planning a member of staff may be able to meet you at the property.

      Our Agricultural departments at Axminster, Bridport, Dorchester, Salisbury, Sherborne, Sturminster Newton, Wimborne and Yeovil offer the full gambit of agricultural agency and professional work. Our Farm Dispersal Team is based at Yeovil and we are Auctioneers for Frome Livestock auctions at Frome.
    • Surveys & Valuations
      Our Survey department is based at Wimborne and can carry out all types of surveys as well as provide a design and project management service. We have registered RICS valuers in several offices carrying out valuations of all types of property for banks, building societies and tax purposes.
    • Commercial
      Our main commercial offices are at Poundbury, Blandford and Yeovil. They provide a full agency service for the sale and letting of commercial property plus advice on all property matters for commercial clients.
    • Property Auctions
      We are recognised as the leading property auctioneers in the south west (data from Essential Information Group) and hold monthly auctions except in January and August selling a variety of property from across the region. The department is headed up by well-known auctioneer Mark Lewis based at our Sturminster Newton office.
    • Planning
      We have a number of chartered surveyors who specialise in planning work from various offices. If you need advice please contact our office.

    Andrew needs little introduction. As former Senior Partner he is one of the most well known and respected members of the firm. There is very little about surveying and land agency he doesn't know.

    A-J Monro joined the firm in 2005 having previously been trained and qualified as a tree surgeon and played extensively through the UK and abroad as a professional polo player. A-J qualified through the firms' training program and is now a full Partner of the firm, taking on the management role for the Wimborne and Wareham offices. A-J undertakes a wide range of professional services in a very wide range of property matters except for sales and is the firms go-to-guy for Renewable Energy as well as a trained and qualified Expert Witness in Valuation. A-J has recently been made the Chairman for the Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset branch of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) which is the key professional body that governs and regulates Agricultural Valuers across the UK.

    Neal is the manager of the Wimborne and Blandford residential department joining us in 2017. He has spent his 23 year career working throughout the Wimborne area, the Purbecks, Ferndown, Southbourne and Dorchester and his knowledge of the local market is second to none.
