Most of the sales in Romford over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £357,846. Flats had an average sold price of £251,545 and semi-detached properties averaged at £408,470.
Romford, with an overall average price of £351,458, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Rise Park (£367,928), but was cheaper than Marshalls Park (£426,797) and Gidea Park (£455,922).
In the past year house prices in Romford were 3% up on the year before and 22% up on 2015 when they averaged at £287,388.
