Most of the sales in Cornwall over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £476,635. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £264,785 and semi-detached properties averaged at £289,387.
Cornwall, with an overall average price of £343,525, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Devon (£326,506), but was cheaper than Somerset (£363,723) and Dorset (£393,119). The most expensive area within Cornwall was St. Mawes (£2,258,300) and the cheapest was Antony (£156,000).
In the past year house prices in Cornwall were similar to the year before and 4% down on 2022 when they averaged at £358,110.
