Most of the sales in Cornwall over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £488,953. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £265,115 and semi-detached properties averaged at £304,830.
Cornwall, with an overall average price of £349,603 was more expensive than nearby Devon (£330,261), but was cheaper than Somerset (£369,412) and Dorset (£403,311). The most expensive area within Cornwall was Rock (£1,132,600) and the cheapest was Camborne (£218,718).
In the past year house prices in Cornwall were 3% down on the year before and 5% up on 2021 when they averaged at £332,416.
