On average Welsh home-owners spent ÂŁ31 in every ÂŁ100 of their home improvement budget on the kitchen in the last 12 months, although this was slightly lower than the national average of ÂŁ33.
An early indication of where prices are headed in the second half of 2010 was presented this month with new sellers dropping their asking prices for the first time this year, down by 0.6% (ÂŁ1,435).
