'We had a requirement to sell our property, and invited 3 estate agents to value the property and to discuss with us our objectives from the sale. One agent was clearly looking for a quick sale and grossly undervalued the property; the next showed little interest on our requirements and objectives giving a production line approach to the sale, the third was Alex McClean of Hudson Moody. Several things are important to us, being listened to, having good constructive advice, and having an easy uncomplicated working arrangement that considers the views of the seller, the buyer, and the professional requirement. It was a good decision when we placed our property with Alex and Hudson Moody, as all of these boxes were ticked plus a few more, including courtesy, consideration and acceptance of our views and opinions. Alex knows the area, in which he operates very well, has a good inbuilt comparator for price, value and area and gave good advice throughout the process. We believe that we had a desirable property with a value of circa £500k and it was sold in a reasonably short time. We did not feel under any pressure at any stage and received good advice throughout, it is always difficult moving home; but the Estate Agents role in our move was the least traumatic of any previous sale, so I have no difficulty in recommending Alex McClean of Hudson Moody based on our personal experience.'
